Emilia and Patrick had an intimate and heartfelt Manhattan Beach Elopement.  They were originally scheduled to have a big ceremony and reception in March of 2020, but that had to be postponed due to COVID-19.  After feeling like they’ve put their lives on hold long enough, Emilia reached out and asked if I could cover the intimate elopement they were planning.  I was on board immediately.


2020 was a very rough year for freelancers in our industry, but this event shows that it is definitely possible to safely put on a beautiful ceremony in the midst of a pandemic.  There was no hair and makeup coverage, no dancing and I wore a mask the entire time.  Some guests were present via FaceTime, including the officiant!  It all worked out perfectly.  Emilia and Patrick were thrilled just to be officially married finally and it was a heartwarming to say the very least.
